Murder & Mayhem
This poor female Hairy Woodpecker had been on the suet feeder one moment feasting on the fat source and then swoop, a hawk and she's gone!
But not far, just beyond the feeder in the driveway.
Appears to be a Cooper's Hawk about to be nourished by one of my favorite woodpeckers.
Ugh . . .
